Wow! Thanks, I'm hoping to get some really nice photos, if the weather is good! Do you know of any other "classic" photo locations along the line that are easy to get to? Sorry if I'm asking too much, I really want to make the most of this trip. Thanks.

Easy to get... Here some along the northern ramp:

There are some nice spots around Winterbach station, you can look down from one trackbed to the other one down below and to Laubenbachmühle station. A bit walking around you will easily find good photo positions.

Laubenbachmühle station is also nice with trains running up to Mariazell and easily to access.

There's a viaduct near Puchenstuben: You walk the road from station up (not the short to the village but the bit longer walk in Mariazell direction) and then left down the minor street. Vegetation is a bit of a nuisance but the picture should still be possible.

All pictures from my page but I should warn you, not all of them are of the "easy to access" kind  http://meine.bahnen.at

The Friends of Mariazellerbahn photo guide could be of use, but it's still german only (I'll be an old man with long grey beard the day I have everthing ready and in English too...): http://www.mariazellerbahn.at/strecke/fotostellen.php
Also of use maybe the Wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mariazellerbahn
